Release: Publisher and Editorial Advisor of The Ambulatory M&A Advisor to Speak at AHLA Program
Dallas, TX-May 05, 2016
Blayne Rush, President of Ambulatory Alliances LLC, Adam Rogers, Partner with DLA Piper, and Curtis Bernstein, Principal with Pinnacle Healthcare Consulting will be holding an exclusive presentation at The Health Care Transactions Program.
On May 18, Rush, Bernstein and Rogers will present “Urgent Care Transactions: Critical Insights for Operators and Deal Makers” from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The session is scheduled to cover a variety of topics involving urgent care transactions. Some of the topics include:
- The history and overview of Urgent Care Clinics and the current market landscape
- Current trends and drivers of Urgent Care Clinic transactions
- Valuation of Urgent Care Clinic transactions, including influencers of FMV and key risk categories
- Key due diligence considerations in Urgent Care Clinic transactions and traps for the uninitiated
“I am appreciative that the American Health Lawyers Association has allowed myself and the others to present on this topic. I think that within the last few years and in the near future, urgent care is an exploding market. Urgent care is going to involve from the urgent care as we know it today, to on-demand healthcare,” Rush says.
“This trend is going to spread out and is something that we plan on discussing further in our presentation. I think that this is one of the hottest markets within healthcare, and there are a lot of transactions going on, and obviously, a lot of lawyers involved in those transactions. Those people need to know what is going on from different viewpoints. Not only from the valuator’s viewpoint, but from healthcare transaction lawyers that have significant experience, and then investment bankers. We have lined up those three and I am glad that Rogers and Bernstein agreed to join us in the presentation, and I am looking forward to it.”
Bernstein adds that with the fragmentation in the urgent care space, the number of urgent care providers is likely going to start looking for opportunities to work with other providers throughout the market.
“Our team always wants to make sure that the executives and business owners have the best support available to them as they make these important decisions for their business,” Bernstein says.
The Health Care Transactions Program is presented by the American Health Lawyers Association, and offers a unique opportunity to learn latest commercial developments, strategies and deal forecasts from noted experts.
The program is set to begin on Tuesday, May 17 at 8:00 am and end Wednesday, May 18 at 3:45 pm.
